Royalty Free

Royalty Free. I am royalty free. Caitlin is royalty free. Our broadcast class is royalty free. What is royalty free?

Royalty free is music that isn't copyrighted so we can use it in our videos. Many students find the selection lame, dull, and not as good as "real" music. I don't get it. Royalty free music is just as good, if not better than music you hear on the radio or listen to on your iPod. Most of the songs don't have lyrics. None of the song's have titles. But everyone knows all of the beats by heart. If you say, "You know that one that goes da da da da?" Everyone knows exactly which song you mean. The songs are categorized into folders with unique titles like "Mid Tempo", "Electrica" or "Millennium". No one really knows what the titles mean. Like what does "Millennium" sound like? But that is all a part of the mysterious qualities of royalty free music.

On occasion you do find those rare songs with lyrics and a dynamite beat. Our most recent discovery is track 27 in the "hip hop and vocal jam" category, my person favorite. It has legit rap lyrics like "Where my players at?" and "Do you want the money?". So Caitlin and I had the genius idea of downloading all of our favs to our computer so we can make a cd of them and put them on our iPods.

So next time you need some music but don't want to deal with copyrights, just look to royalty free. It never lets you down.

follow your heart

i love everything
sometimes i type up quotes, sayings, thoughts or feelings on little pieces of paper and tape them on bathroom doors at the school and never tell anyone
i have trouble focusing im always thinking of a million things, they are always the same things
i analyze people alot. every person is so weird i wish i knew all about them. and could talk to each one my whole life
why do people lie i love real people, hard to find
peanut butter
i love deep talks hate small talk
i wonder why everyone isnt like me
adventures spontaneous weird
keep moving dont get stuck, im stuck
it goes so fast, gone
what matters
im looking for you
grasp on life, get it

.follow your heart.

The Best Day of My Life

So on Saturday we had a cross country meet in Pittsburgh. No big deal, we go there all of the time. But then I remembered HE will be there. Only the sexiest, hottest, fastest, funniest, (basically the all around best) runner in the entire WPIAL will be there. Joe Kush. His long, flowing, golden locks mixed with his model-like expressions mesmerize every little cross country runner girl at the meet. Now prior to the meet half of the team requested him on Facebook, and he accepted, not expecting us to be so creepy in love with him. So when we see him sweetly swinging on the playground with his teammate, we approach him. We actually got to talk to him face to face. In real life. I am not making this up. And we of course got photographic evidence. And when we went to take the pic his perfect arm wrapped around Caitlin and his hand gently rested on my shoulder. I almost died. So it may seem pretty dumb to be this obsessed over a guy you don't even know. But it's not. Don't believe me? Take a look for yourself...

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Love ya Joe :)
