SNOW SNOW SNOW
-weekend plans spoiled
-school taking over summer
-coldness
-many injuries caused from the deathly snow and ice
-excessive shoveling
-inconviences, INCONVIENCES!
- cancellations of everything you do in life
-loss of animals/pets due to snow levels accumulating too high for heads.
Therefore, we are in a crisis. This is a time to come together and bond. For unity and cheerfulness.
Will we make it through this...
Will the snow ever end...
Will Greater Latrobe School District ever taste summer...
Dear Snow, thankyou for your appearance this year. you have helped to make this winter and christmas a white and enjoyable one. However, you have overstayed your welcome. please go home now.
Sincerly, Indeifnite Cacophobia
(my deepest apologies for the lack of photos in this post. my computer is having a mini spaz attack and wont let me add any. )

Snow week

the top of the fort
I spent my week doing numerous things, but the highlight was building Fort Shine (the name is an inside joke) in Caitlin Egan's driveway. From the snow that piled up from shoveling the driveway we made the best fort known to man kind. We made a room for her dog (our most frequent visitor), a main room (big enough for 6 people), a tunnel to another room (big enough for 2-3 people), and a snow tunnel slide(can get dangerous). This fort will go down in history. Don't believe me? Check out the siiick vid at youtube.com/caitlin6793 and be amazed!

Weight Room Champs

With the 2010 track season fast approaching, my fellow distance runner and co-writer of this blog, Caitlin, and I have been working out in our school’s weight room daily. Our routine is as follows: ride the elliptical machines until we get dizzy and high, run a lap around the school (1000 meters) as fast as we can (our PR is 4:23), buy candy from the vending machine, sit in the locker room and eat said candy until our ride comes.
So step one: ride the elliptical machines until we get dizzy and high. Now after school we have to change super fast and run to the weight room to make sure we get the good, fully functional ellipticals. Otherwise, the whole day is thrown off. When we were weight room noobs, we could only go for 30 minutes. Now we are rising up to be stars of the weight room, and are at 45 minutes. We usually listen to our I-pods, laugh at the toolfools who use the gym, or make up raps (look out for our CD being released on Tuesday). This usually is enough to keep us entertained until the last 10 minutes. The last 10 minutes of our workout are the most intense. We are so tired that we are dizzy and laugh at everything and we have runner’s high. Then when there is one minute left, we crank up the resistance to 10! (We usually stay at 6) Then we have to go as hard and fast as we can in that last minute. Then after we are done we do our good deed for the day and wipe off our machines with the sanitary wipes.
Step two: run a lap around the school as fast as we can. So at this point we are high and extremely tired. So we get a drink from the water fountain. Then we go outside in the freezing weather wearing only shorts and a t-shirt and we start the timer. Then we sprint as fast as we can, trying not to pass out or die. As we get to the junior high all of the babies leaving school get in our way and we have to dodge them like an obstacle course! It’s madness! We make it back to the weight room, barely in one piece and stop the timer. Our fasted time ever is 4:23. We try to break it every time we do our lap. After we are done with the lap we take a few minutes to catch our breath and be able to walk straight again.
Step three: buy candy from the vending machine. Then we crawl back upstairs to the gym lobby with our emergency dollar bills in hand. We take about 10 minutes to decide what we want (although we get the same thing every time-the crispy crisp crunch- accept they are all out now!!!). Our dollars slide into the machine, we punch in the number that we want, and the delicious, mouthwatering, juicy, sweet, sugary, tasty, melty, crunchy, perfection candy falls into our hands.
Step four: sit in the locker room and eat said candy. This is my personal favorite time of our workout. After we buy our candy we go back down to the locker room (this takes about 10 minutes since we are so high) and sit and eat it! We laugh at everything and say crazy things to the other girls in the locker room. Sometimes we try to stretch, but it never seems to work out and we always end up lying down instead. After our candy bars are gone (this is a devastating moment) we grab all of our crap and sllooowwwllyyy walk back up to the lobby and wait for out rides.
So all of this seems super cool and awesome, until the toolfools took over! Now we aren’t allowed in the weight room on Mondays and Wednesdays because the football team is in there. Track season starts in three weeks, and football season doesn’t start until next school year!! It’s an outrage! But unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it so we just sucked it up and joined the football team so we can still workout. Jk, but that would be pretty BA. So now you know the full length version of what our everyday crazy, running-filled lives our like. Impressed?

Mondays
My obsession began when I saw the first ad, the tricks/flips amazed me and the drama intriged me. I was ubndeniably hooked. From the first episode of the first season to the most recent episode of season two, I have been addicted! I feel in love with all the characters:
Kaley: the nation champion, has a lot of drama in her life. Her mom cheated on her dad with her national team coach, Marty. (Her poor Dad is still clueless) She just wants to be normal and happy. Her ex-boyfriend cheated on her with her ex-bestfriend.
Emily: The girl from the playground. Her family is not very wealthy. She has a job along with 6 day practices. At her job, she found romance, her boyfriend Damon moved to L.A., but they are still going strong. Although Razor, who works at the pizza shack is eyeing her. Competition? She learned everything she knows from them playground. She lacks self-confidence, but her mother is helping her out :)
Payson: the intense gymnast. Gymnastics has always been her dream. She has never wanted anything more, but she hurt her back and her career is over. She just started high school, and is getting involved with the bad crowd. She has given up on dreaming, but hopefully will overcome this depression.
Lauren: the backstabber. She loves gymnastics and needs to be the center of attention, even if it means hurting her friends. She loves Carter( Kaley's ex) but he will always want Kaley. She is always causing trouble and loves blackmailing.
Now that I caught you up on the main characters, SAVE MONDAYS and watch Make it or Break it. It is on right after Secret Life (not as good) at 9! It will make your Mondays worth while, and you will soon be looking foward to the next one. Only 6 more days!
Watch&&Love :)
oh and by the way, flamingos can only eat with their heads upside down.

Gray Men Awareness
Now, if there is anyone still conscious after that…I apologize for forcing you to see this horrible thing that I saw. But, there is no way to describe what it was without showing you exactly what I saw. Now you can understand and visualize the gray men’s goal. You may be unaware of the current battle that is occurring on Indefinite Cacophobia. The Gray men are here. They are attacking.
And we need YOU to help us stop them.
YOU can make a difference by informing others, friends and family, about this message, and encouraging them to take part in the fight against gray men.
Join us in the fight against gray men.
FAQ
What are gray men?
They are power hungry robots that take over websites on the internet. Their latest attraction has been blogger.com… especially indefinite Cacophobia.
What can I do to help?
You can help by making sure you have a picture, and also informing others. If you see someone you know that has a gray man controlling their account, please inform them that their account is being taken over by the gray men, and encourage to upload a picture to stop the madness.
How do we stop them once they have taken over?
Once a photo is uploaded, it is impossible for the gray men to get you again. Unless, However... you or someone else removes their photo. In this case there is an 86% chance that the gray men will strike again.
How do we know the gray men are attacking?
We have had many problems with them in the past. Such as hacking accounts of our followers. (This is the most major and main problem) But, they have also been known for Attacking random posts, our slideshow and some of the author’s profiles. And the worst part is… they are capable of much much more. We have given them fair warnings. So it’s free game now. TAKE THEM DOWN!
Thankyou for your time.

Cacophobia

Well Uglies, as I was pondering what the topic of my next post should be I thought “Well I’m sure none of them know the true definition of Cacophobia.” So here is my explanation that will hopefully answer all of your cacophobic questions.
Cacophobia is the overwhelming, irrational fear of ugliness. (Some people may think we discriminate against ugly people, but ugly is a relative term, what is ugly to us may not be ugly to you. Also, we are indefinite about our Cacophobia) But cacophobes can also be afraid of not only ugly people, but ugly things. It is usually caused by an event in your past involving something or someone ugly that scarred you for life. It can also be triggered if you associate with people who you consider to be ugly.
Just a few of the symptoms of this serious problem are dry mouth, rapid heartbeat, dizziness, trembling, and feeling out of control. Cacophobia is usually self diagnosed, but there are several treatments to help the unfortunate souls who deal with these symptoms each and every day. Some include: exposure therapy, support groups, and anti-anxiety medication (for severe cases only).
So now you know the severity of Cacophobia. Maybe you realized you have it yourself, or that you can help someone you know who suffers from it. Maybe you think I’m crazy. But either way, keep reading and keep spreading the word about Cacophobia.

My Turn?

Your heart is pounding, mind racing as to what move you should make next, you begin to feel the sweat bead on your forehead. This can only be describing one thing, Ticket to Ride. Ticket to Ride (or TTR) is basically the best board game known to man. (http://www.daysofwonder.com/tickettoride/en/) The game board is a map of the United States, with train routes linking major cities. Your goal is to complete the trips given to you on your destination cards. You can also block other people to stop them from completing their trips. Now, when you first hear about a game involving trains and a map, most people are automatically turned off. Those people are fools. It is an intense game of skill and strategy that you can play for hours on end and never get bored.
I most recently learned that there are different versions and expansion packs of the game. For example, TTR Europe, TTR Switzerland, and TTR Nordic Countries. I want them all!! I am just a beginner at the game and I look up to my superiors (Kim and Caitlin) very much. My goal in life is to beat them. Since I don’t own the game yet I practice by playing online (http://www.daysofwonder.com/en/play/). Unfortunately, you can only play 4 free games before you have to pay. But hopefully I will own the game for myself soon so I can practice with my family to beat Kim and Caitlin and fulfill my dream.
I encourage all of you Uglies to buy and play this game ASAP. Maybe even if you get good enough you can join the TTR club. (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=232825717970&ref=ts) But until then, you keep getting prettier and keep reading!

On Top of the World
The night came and I was pumped. During Taking Back Sunday, people around me were going up in the air. I knew it was my time. I asked this large guy and his large friend to pick me up. Suddenly, I was on top of the world! Being shuffled from hand to hand, bouncing up and down in the air. At one point, no one was touching me, I was surrounded by air! What an adrenaline rushhhh. I started flipping over, but luckily the crowd was able to keep me steady. Before I knew it, I was in the bouncers arms and the experience was over, but it was one I will never forget. And you don't think about people touching you butt, you need the support, it's nothing personal. So don't let that turn you off!
Caitlin knew how much this moment meant to me and was able to take this siiiick picture. She is a true friend. :)
Warning: If you are too heavy, the crowd will not be able to carry you. You WILL fall. I have seen is happen.
Uglies, what are you waiting for? Go crowd surf, before you get too old and no one will be able to carry you! Peace out.

A Global Phenomenon
It being 2010, i was reflecting back on the last year and have relized that Farmville was a major part of my life… and i now feel the overpowering need to share my deep love and passion i have for this game. I have been addicted for almost 6 months now… It all started last summer when I got an invitation to join. I was curious so I tried it out... not knowing the dangers, risks and addictivness of the game i slowly built up my farm larger and larger...I’m currently on level 39... and steadily leveling up. I own a villa, the biggest farm available, tons of animals, and I am currently working to get a lodge. I have mastered sunflowers, lavender, red tulips, peas and eggplants. I am now working to master soybeans. I plan everything I do in my life around when my crops are ready. It is a serious problem. If you are a player, you know the detailed strategy involved in planting and harvesting.
Here is a photo of my good lookin farm.

Tori Vallana, co-author of Indefinite Cacophobia said, “I have been involved in Mafia Wars, Sorority Life, Pet Society, School of Wizardry…and I just can’t afford to get addicted again.”
I have also played many of these same Facebook games, and I cannot deny the addictiveness of them, but no other game have I continued playing so long and even compares to the amount of fun and fulfillment one receives from playing Farmville.
Kim McDonagh, co-author of Indefinite Cacophobnia said, “It’s all I think about. I want to quit everything I’m involved in to become a full time farmer. Instead of setting academic and athletic goals, I have Farmville goals. It has even recently started causing family problems.”
Me and Kim’s friendship has grown greatly through Farmville. We call each other frequently and have up to 2 hour conversations solely about Farmville. We send each other gifts every day, leave messages on each other’s farm, and we will even hack each other’s farm if one won’t be able to harvest for that day. Not only is Farmville great for strengthening existing friendships, but also for creating friendships. We have many “Farmville Friends” as we call them random people that we have never talked to and aren’t friends with in real life, but we send each other gifts everyday and sometimes leave messages for each other.
Check out me and Kim’s saweeet video we made about Farmville. It’s titled “Farmville-a global phenomenon”. Part 1: Tik Tok by ke$ha Farmville Spoof Music Video

All I want for Christmas
Christmas day came and after ripping through each wrapped parcel, I found no Snuggie. I was DEVASTATED! How could my parents neglect to buy me my most desired gift?! As the day went on more and more relatives arrived at my house each with their gifts for me. Still no Snuggie! Finally, my grandma arrived. She passed out her presents to my brother, my sister and I. My sister and I began tearing into our boxes. She was a little faster than me and I saw the Snuggie label on her box. All I could think was, “THERE BETTER BE A SNUGGIE IN MY BOX OR I AM GOING TO HURT SOMEONE!” I was relieved when I finished peeling off the paper and a cheetah print Snuggie was sitting on my lap.
It is now three days later I haven’t taken my Snuggie off. I eat, sleep, blog and even take showers in it. Its infinite warmth is so enjoyable that I now completely understand why there were over four million sold in three months. I would recommend a Snuggie to anyone who wants to fully enjoy their life with warmth AND accessible hands.

12 Days of Christmas
On the twelfth day of Christmas, a dumb friend sent to me Twelve tooth brushes to go with the floss, Eleven pet rocks, Ten white socks, Nine deodorants, Eight pencils for school, Seven handmade coupons, Six saving bonds, Five golden snuggies, Four packs of underwear, Three text books, Two paper weights, And dental floss in my stocking.
Why are these gifts so horrible?
Dental floss- There is nothing worst then unwrapping a present and getting floss. I hate to floss and do not want santa giving me the same “gifts” to me as my dentist!
Paper weights- It’s something that just sits on your desk, inactive, and is not needed. If your papers get blown around, then close a window, or find a rock!
Textbooks- Gee thanks! Just what I wanted to be doing over break, getting a head start on future school work. NOOOT!
Packs of underwear- not a fun gift and extremely embarrassing if it being opened in front of a crowd. I do not want my all my family and friends seeing what I wear under my pants!
Golden snuggies- I am not actually sure if golden snuggies exist but it fit the song well. I have to admit, receiving a snuggie wouldn’t be terrible, it would be hilarious. But the thought, of some company selling billions of these blankets with two holes cut out of it, disgusts me. They are making tons of money off a prehistoric invention, the blanket.
Saving bonds- I can’t play with it. I can’t spend it. I can’t use it. I can only look at it. I WANT MY MONEY NOW!
Handmade coupons- I am ashamed to say I am guilty, when I was younger I did make these. Free hug, free babysitting, I will set the table for a day. It’s the gift to give, when you’re broke. It may be cute when you are younger. But when you are older than 6, it becomes a bad gift. And doing it year after year makes it worse and worse.
Pencils for school- Oh great, I think I will go do my homework now with these lovely pencils.
Deodorant- Is this a hint? Do I smell bad? Do you think I don’t already use it? This gift is repulsive. No one wants to be told they smell bad, especially on Christmas! And if you think you are being subtle about it, you are most definitely not!
White socks- You could have at least made them colored. Polka dots, stripes, graphics, give me something on them! White is so blah.
Pet rock- They don’t need to be fed, go to the bathroom, be walked. They don’t come when you call their name. You can’t play with them, you might hurt yourself. Putting eyes on a rock cannot be considered a pet, and whoever is selling them is making almost as much money as the snuggie guy.
Toothbrush- The perfect accessory to the floss.
Overall, I had a very merry Christmas, and hope you did too! Or a Happy Hanukkah, Kwanza, or whatever you celebrate!
Thanks ugly people for reading. Remember the more you read this blog, the prettier you will be! :)

Gone Wild
This was a major change in my life. I feel like a new person! I would recommend this to every ugly person out there. Just put a little streak of color to your hair, it spices everything up and will bring you much happiness. On the bottle it said “FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY” But I knew Nicole was a professional... so I let her proceed. It turned out quite nice, so thank you Nicole. I also copy her with many other things. For example: THIS BLOG! progressiveloitering.blogspot.com They were my inspiration, and I would like to give a shout out to Nick and Nicole for their superiority in blog writing. They have inspired me to start a blog of my own ( along side two other awesome authors, kim and tori. ) which will one day surpass their expertness and soon become the greatest blog of all time. I hope all the ugly people following this will feel like they are at home while on this blog. Thanks for reading I’ll miss you until next time.
